Berry-licious

Berry-licious

So everyday after school I've been really thirsty and wanted a boost and thought an energy drink wouldn't be so healthy so I decided that everyday I would try a smoothie from each of the following the juice franchises:
·
  •  Orange Julius
  • · Booster Juice
  • · Freshly Squeezed
There are other choices out there but these three franchises are promising and trustworthy in my opinion.
From each of these juice stores I've tried at least one of the many flavours available at each of the stores. The flavour that I have compared, which seemed more reasonable would be the Triple-Berry from Orange Julius, at Freshly Squeezed since they didn’t have a flavour of mixed berries I mixed blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries together, and at Booster Juice I had a Very Berry. Having to have compared all these three and taking price, and flavour into consideration I personally prefer a Triple-Berry from Orange Julius.

Ball Player

Ball Player

From the Blue Jays a Baseball team Booster Juice has used a player from that team to promote their product. They had Jose Bautista who had a rumor going on that after having hitting home runs all season he may be on steroids, but no one would have guessed that he was using Booster Juice as his method to be healthy and strong. All over billboards were pictures of Jose Bautista holding a bat in one hand and a Booster Juice drink in the other one, on the side of the ad it had six words that basically described him. The words were “Bats Right Throws Right, Lives Right. “Basically in my opinion its stating that he makes the right choices in his life. Rumors had it that he was pharmaceutically fuelled, but when the ad came out many disregarded everything that was flying around and he was back on top.

Colada Style

Colada Style

Who would think that putting together pineapples and coconuts would taste so awesome? Today I went and tried Booster Juice’s Pina Colada and the Freshly Squeezed Pina Coladas. In my opinion I would say that I liked the Pina Colada from Booster Juice was way better than the one from Freshly Squeezed. The reason being was because the juice from Freshly Squeezed was sourer and it didn't taste right, felt like the coconut wasn't fresh or something, also the texture all the pineapple was at the bottom as for the coconut was at the top. As for Booster Juice the texture it was liquidly and milky white and it had a great rich flavour to the taste which was sweet yet sour giving it a nice sensation.  Considering that I didn’t like the Pina Colada from Freshly Squeezed I found that the price I paid wasn't really worth it, and I found it was a waste of money in opinion, which would sometimes mislead that all of the juices serviced there are the same quality as the Pina Colada.

Freshly Squeezed Vs Orange Julius

Freshly Squeezed Vs Orange Julius

Now comparing the two completers of Booster Juice let’s talks about the difference between Orange Julius and Freshly Squeezed. Freshly Squeezed is more like Booster Juice where you have a large variety. But if you were to compare Orange Julius and Freshly Squeezed then you can see Freshly Squeezed has a large menu from where you can either choose a juice or smoothie or make your own type of juice or smoothie, but on the other hand Orange Julius doesn't have a large variety, there is a limited menu you would have to choose from and only contains 6-9 types of fruits in total. Now if we compare the different taste of fruit juices from the two franchises then you can see the different taste between the two. For Orange Julius the Pina Colada has a smoother texture and it is less sour, also easier to drink and hold the flavour. As for Freshly Squeezed the juice holds the flavor for a bit then the taste goes strong to very liquidly  and weak.

Booster Juice VS Freshly Squeezed

Booster Juice VS Freshly Squeezed

Booster Juice and Freshly Squeezed are amongst the greatest places in the world to buy a smoothie or juice. The two are very successful smoothie franchises which are endlessly satisfying the needs of the immense amount of health conscious people around the globe.  While both are greatly refreshing and delicious, they have their differences. Booster Juice has an extreme amount of variety. Instead of ordering your typical smoothie at Booster Juice, why not try an incredibly healthy shot of wheat grass or have a egg salad, or even a acai berry bowl! Freshly squeezed may not possess an extravagant menu as Booster Juice which includes other food products, but they still have a great amount of different and exotic smoothies you can buy like a Pina Colada or a Blueberry & Watermelon smoothie! At Booster Juice a “simple smoothie" is unjust. With 8 different smoothie categories such as Life choice, Tropical, and High Protein, you can get exactly what your mind, heart, and what you healthy body wants! Although Freshly Squeezed does not list their smoothies in specific categories, you can create your own smoothie with the juices of over 10 different fruits like Strawberry, Grapes, and Blueberries or order a classic fruit juice combination like Pina Colada which contains both Pineapple and Coconut juices. Even though they are different they are both famous healthy juice companies.

Orange Julius VS Booster Juice

Orange Julius VS Booster Juice

Orange Julius has a taste in quality but is limited in flavours, also very freshly made. Whereas Booster Juice not only has the quality but it also has variety of choices that you choose to put together.
Even though they have limited variety, all the smoothies and juices are freshly made on the spot and if you want a boost, they will add a energy boost.this is one of the many reasons why it has competition with Booster Juice.  From my experince Orange Julius has a smoother, creamier texture to its smoothies than Booster Juice.  I feel that the boost that comes in Orange Julius is more noticable than the one that comes in Booster Juice, it gives  you a quick shot of energy within a few minutes rather then how Booster Juices its more time consuming in showing results.

Orange Julius

Like every stores name there is a reason behind it. Orange Julius got its name by a guy who liked oranges and his name was Julius Freed. Not only did he like oranges a lot but his friend Bill did also but because it upset his stomach he couldn't drink it, so Bill had come up with an idea of blending other fruits together making it less acid and it also happened to make it frothy and delicious. Since Julius had an orange stand but sales were low Bill had introduced his new idea and Julius introduced the drink to his customers, and soon the store was lined with thirsty fans shouting, “Give me an orange, Julius!” This is how the store Orange Julius was born. In 1987 Orange Julius was bought and owned subsidiary of International Dairy Queen.
Unlike many other juice franchises Orange Julius has only 8 smoothie choices and 6 different types of juices.

Types of Smoothies:
  • OrangeBerry
  • Tropi-Colada
  • Berry-Banana Squeeze
  • Mango Passion
  • Strawberry Sensation

  • Strawberry Xtreme
  • Pomegranate & Berries
Types of Juice:

IS BOOSTER JUICE A HEALTHY CHOICE?

What is Booster Juice?

Booster Juice is a juice and smoothie bar franchise, in which their first business started in 1999. They are generally a small industry that is still only 200 stores across the world. Booster Juice has their largest chain of franchise in Canada. Booster Juice is not like all the other healthy fruit and smoothie bars that are found anywhere, what makes it different is that they have a little kick to it which gives it a "boost" which is from the natural addictive that are added which can include either of the following, protein, Echinacea, fibre, ginseng and rosehip. Booster Juice in the past few years has risen in popularity because of the healthy lifestyle choice people have been making. Unlike other juice stores Booster Juice doesn’t add any sugar. At Booster Juice the juice and smoothies are composed of pure juice, fruit sorbet, or vanilla frozen yogurt and ice. Each serving contains at least 4 servings of fruits and sometimes even more. This is somewhat of the information on Booster Juice there is still more to come.
